-includes trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone/euphonium & tuba

Summer Music Camps Info:
-All camps are open to ANY student, ages 9-14. (Previous music experience is not necessary.)
-All camps are taught by professional musicians. Visit our Staff Page to read the bios of the South Pointe Music Staff.
-Instrument usage is available at no extra cost during the camps from SPMS.
-Drinks and Snacks are sold during break time.
-Non-Walnut Valley Unified School District students are welcome to attend all camps.
Music Camps at South Pointe are great for…
Preparing for Wind Ensemble auditions, All Southern Honor Band auditions, All State Honor Band auditions, beginners (who want to see what band is about), as well as advanced students, students wanting to try out a different instrument or another instrument in the same family as their current instrument… a great way to learn music and meet other music students in the area.
What goes on at the Camp:
-technique on individual instruments are taught by professionals in small groups
-students learn beginning, intermediate and advanced concepts
-prepare fun music to perform for the parents on the final day
-play fun games during break time such as Water Ballon Toss and Amoeba Tag
